I’ve just came back from a 24 hours trip to Paris with Henessy brand for their workshop cocktail session ” The fine mix ” at the well known Colette concept store. During the cocktail workshop, I was allowed to only choose four favorite ingredients(peach, strawberries, mint and cilantro leaves) in order to create my own Fine Mix with the ”Fine de Cognac” in guidance of a professional Mixologist expert.
With a minimum of 4 years old and blended with up to 25 year old eaux-de-vie, this Hennessy Fine de Cognac has it’s VSOP quality which makes it a versatile bottle to own. Plus it is equally good as a digestif, or perhaps as that extra-special ingredient in your favorite cocktail. With its amber color, while drinking it, on the nose, the fragrances present notes of lemon and citrus, which is a dominance of this Fins Bois Cru – best tasting experience! On the palate, you can notice the dry almond with a little of spice and honey, without mentioning the finisher that is smooth “dans la bouche”.
Hennessy, the master’s at producing cognac, have aimed this VSOP limited edition at the younger generation and also for those who like to experiment a little in their way of drinking cognac. Therefore, when most people think about cognac, their minds may conjure images of a fine liquor that radiates class and history, but may not be accessible to all. However, this Fine the Cognac is worth it in term of value for money,it’s quality alcohol for the discerning and even the taste makes it prohibitive to many. Thus, Hennessy stays the world famous Cognac producer with its history dating back to 1765. Initially an eaux-de-vie trading business, Hennessy is now the most successful Cognac exporter in the world and is part of the Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy Group while collaborating with new markets such as the Hip Hop scene and artists from different fields. This said, I hope, you’ll enjoy your Fine de Cognac by trying it to get different taste experiences. // Credit Photos: PAT MEDIA
