Indeed, denim is timeless staple, a blank canvas for trends, a fashion favorite that is reinvented every season – from the most boho hippy to the grungiest biker look; midnight blue to totally washed out; sporty or edgy, the styles and possibilities out from it are endless!

Remember first, that  lighter shades of denim draw attention to the body parts they cover, while darker washes create a slimming effect. Be also careful not to wear too much denim accessories. Keep the denim confined to your clothing and avoir a denim hat, handbag. However, a plaid jacket and striped shoe as an accessory can add interest to your denim look without being too over-the-top. Plus, inject colorful prints by adding color pop patterns or striped turtleneck to change up the style game.  If you are wearing multiple colors with your denim, color block them to make sure that your denim is  »popping ». If you’re looking for an edgy look, a metallic top beneath a light or medium-wash cropped denim jacket  is what you need. Denim is also considered a neutral, mix and match and layer different fabrics with it to get an unique style such a satin off shoulder top with your high waisted jeans for a casual chic look. Although, denim shirts may not scream feminine, their simplicity matched with a skirt, create an interesting contrast. A bohemian maxi skirt for example, works especially well when matched with a denim tee.

There’s also another denim game you should give a try:  The double denim (wearing denim on denim)where you keep it simple with two denim pieces of clothing in classic cuts. You must break it up with basics and classic staples like an oversized printed tee, or a lighter wash top with a darker bottom or look for denim pieces with bold details, such as a comic prints skirt, fur accents or fun embellishments. It’s a cheeky way to pull off the denim on denim look!  In fact, a light blue or white washed denim shirt or jacket can look stylish when paired with boot-cut jean. The trick for getting denim on denim right is all in the pieces you choose. You need to make sure the cuts are slim, especially on the legs. Wear also denim in all different colors, as long as they go together. A white jeans skirt mixed to a light or dark blue denim shirt, or even blue skinny jeans with a colored denim jacket creates a fresh and fun look. For now, all you need is to give it a dry, denim is one of the most ageing look around, and there’s no need to be a fashion expert to wear it. Don’t worry you have a better fashion sense than you realize.
