WHAT IF YOU TOOK THE RISK TO FIGHT FOR YOUR DREAMS?
If you want to follow your dreams, aim higher. If your ambitions are small, they’re easily overpowered. Big goals are paradoxically more likely to stick because they’re worth ignoring smaller goals for. Keep up to three lists for different parts of your life and each list only gets one objective. Beware your idle wants. Watch out for ‘other things that you also want’. They will feel comforting, harmless, and automatic. You may not be able to create the next Microsoft 8.0, cure cancer and land on Mars at the same time. But you might be able to simultaneously become a successful and athletic business CEO. Well, success and fitness can be complementary goals as they are pushing in the same direction, and stronger for it. So, a healthier person can be a better leader. Don’t be impatient, but be patient and blessed for each exciting thing that happens in your life. Indeed, over 50% of our day runs on automatic so we are finally caught up in using the ‘computer’ part of our brain and just going through the motions that we actually forget the current experience we are having! It takes no emotion to repeat an action over and over again…but just give more and let that giving be your expectation and happiness as for life itself, no two moments are ever the same.
If you want the power to follow your dreams, you have to say no to all the alternatives. It’s not easy, but if that’s for you, at least you know the price. Sometimes, you get caught wrapping in fluffy pillows, several reasons for not doing something and get your friends, family members and colleagues to believe you too — as if you need confirmation that you shouldn’t be reaching for your goals. You know exactly how this sounds, “yeah, I would love to start my own business but I don’t know anything about business,” or “I don’t have enough money that’s why I am not doing this A,B,C project” or “I really want to get in the best shape of my life but I have first to take care of my parents, kids, pets, plants, etc”. Well, at that point your dream is over, you forget that you ever even had it and will just continue to talk about the weather, work or some other conversation that you know is one within your comfort zone. Don’t be part of those who do nothing and are always tired and pay no attention to the little amount of work they are required to do. Don’t complain constantly that the day is too short. The truth is, you are afraid to fight the good fight. If what you are following is the path of your dreams, commit yourself to it. Don’t leave the back door open with excuses but embrace your path. Even if you need to take uncertain steps, constantly destroy and build. If you accept the possibilities of the present, you will certainly improve in the future and achieve your dreams.
It will make you the best person you can possibly be and some more. To be honest, sitting at home, watching TV, envying, lurking most successful social influencers pictures, and their perfect happy busy journey(which represents 5 % of a daily life) from various social networks, isn’t going to inspire you to be great. When you are fighting and working towards your dreams you will start separating yourself from the masses, you will create a certain individuality. There’s nothing better than knowing that each day is a new one to take another step in the direction of being great, being your better person. These are the reasons for fighting for your dreams – When you are living your life with some purpose, you won’t need any alarm clock because you will have a powerful reason to start your day for yourself as soon as you decide to open your own bus. So now you have many reasons to do something to start moving towards your dreams, instead of thousand of other reasons not to do something. There’s just one thing that makes your dream become impossible: the fear of failure. You must know what you want from life, remember your dreams and fight for them. Understand that being brave is not the absence of fear but rather the strength to keep on going forward despite the fear.
